aculeatus (butcher’s broom) and
Ilex aquifolium (holly).For
unprotected species you are permitted to pick a maximum of five stems. For
moss and lichen:

Lesser
fauna
|
Provincial
Law no. 17 of 25.07.1973 and following modifications (no. 20 / 1986 and
no. 23 / 1987). It is illegal to destroy or disturb ants nests; it is
illegal to take the eggs and tadpoles of all species of amphibians. From 1st
March to 30th April it is illegal to catch all species of frog.
From 1st April to 30th June it is illegal to catch
snails. During the rest of the year you are permitted to catch frogs and
snails during daylight hours up to a maximum limit of 1 kg per person.

Rocks
and minerals
|
Provincial
Law no. 37 of 31.10.1983: you are permitted to collect and quarry rocks
and minerals for personal collection purposes only up to a maximum limit
of 5 kg per person per day, excepting individual rocks and/or minerals of
a greater weight, for which it is necessary to obtain special
authorisation from the Servizio
Geologico (Geological Service).

Mushroom
picking
|
Provincial
law no. 16 of 06.08.1991: non residents of the municipalities are
permitted, subject to a permit issued by the municipalities, to pick up to
a maximum limit of 2 kg of mushrooms per person per day. You are
furthermore required by law to clean the mushrooms on site and to
transport them in rigid containers with holes.

Danger
of fire

Provincial
Law no. 30 of 31.10.1977: it is illegal to light fires in woods or within
50 metres of a wood.

Refuse

Provincial
Law no. 14 of 26.01.1987: it is illegal to leave behind, drop or dump
litter and refuse of any kind.
