The village of Dimaro lies at the foot of the northern chain of the Brenta Dolomites where the Meledrio Valley, which leads to Folgarida and to Madonna di Campiglio, meets the Sole Valley.
It boasts a number of prestigious historical buildings including the 15^th century church of San Lorenzo, the Palazzo del Dazio (former customs house) and many stone fountains. A short distance away is the district of Carciato with the church of San Giovanni Battista (1751). Also part of the Municipality of Dimaro is the ski resort of Folgarida. Dimaro has an excellent range of tourist accommodation as well as good facilities for a variety of sports.
